Paris is Louboutining

Christian Louboutin unveils a hypnotic artistic performance at Paris’ iconic Piscine Molitor, co-created with artistic director David LaChapelle and choreographed by Blanca Li. Christian Louboutin’s Spring/Summer 2025 show celebrated dance in all its forms. In an audacious twist, the French Olympic artistic swimming team was performing, for the first time, with the Miss Z pump, the new iconic style of the House. Held in the historic Art Deco monument, the event also includes dancers and a live performance by singer-songwriter LP.

Something the three of us clearly have in common is our love for dance. Blanca made it her world, David some of his major art works, and me, I also started by designing shoes for dancers. - Christian Louboutin

Christian Louboutin’s long-standing fascination with dance and water is brought to life in this larger-than-life show. David LaChapelle’s vibrant visuals and Blanca Li’s dynamic choreography create an atmosphere inspired from the water ballets of the 50s, reimagined through a modern perspective.

I wanted to bring back this feeling of Hollywood cinema from the 20th century but at the same time the result is very contemporary. What is beautiful is to inspire ourselves in the past to create something of today. - David LaChapelle

The space was transformed with colorful projections, fountains, and a giant pair of Christian Louboutin shoes that slide into the pool. With synchronized dancers and swimmers, the performance dazzles the audience with acrobatic grace and nostalgic Hollywood vibes. The powerful music performance by LP enhances the show to a fully immersive experience.
